I’m Jess Morgan. I work at the intersection of healthcare, education and wellbeing to create environments where children and young people can truly thrive.
I’m passionate about mental health, neurodiversity, and the role of workplace culture in shaping how adults show up for the young people in their care.
As a former clinical paediatrician, I spent over a decade on the front line of the NHS, supporting children with a wider range of medical needs. In 2019, I retrained as a primary teacher, gaining a fresh perspective on the pressures, expectations, and challenges that I thought I knew so well. This dual experience gives me a unique lens on the experiences of children with SEND how adult wellbeing and school culture directly influence this.

I have become a national voice in physician wellbeing space, speaking on podcasts, at conferences, and workshops both nationally and internationally. My TEDx talk is featured on my homepage.
Now, my unique perspective allows me to work with educators, leaders, health professionals, parents, and carers to create spaces where young people feel seen, understood, and empowered. I do this through public speaking, training and mentorship, because when we approach behaviour with compassionate curiosity, break down silos, and build community and connection across healthcare, education, and wellbeing, children and young people are able to learn, grow, and flourish.
My work is deeply rooted in storytelling and connection. Whether amplifying the voices of children I have cared for or taught, or sharing my own lived experience, I believe stories have the power to transform how we see and understand the world.

Outside of work, I’m a wife and mum of two. I love a windy walk across the fields, a biting swim in open water, and finishing it all with a one-shot latte in a bookshop.
